President Obama's Violence Against Children

Occupy Wall Street, (remember them?) called the child hunger rate in America, "violence against children." This is from the progressive-affiliated website, FaithStreet:

This kind of violence may be systemic, but that does not mean it does not have physically violent effects. This violence is the child who goes to bed hungry, and becomes more and more malnourished as child hunger is rising dramatically in our nation. This violence is the 45, 000 Americans who now die annually from lack of health insurance. This is the strangling of the body, soul and spirit of the young who live in increasingly violent and decaying urban areas where gun violence is an every-day reality, as in Chicago.

It's fun sometimes to go back to 2011 and read this kind of thing, because right now, Michelle Obama is telling us we are too fat, not hungry; President Obama has knocked insured people off their insurance, cancer patients and the like, who did happen to like their doctor; and they both hail from Chicago.  Hmmm, I'm sensing a pattern here.

And yes, that would be the same Occupy Wall Street bunch who threatened small children on their way to school in New York:

Some grade school students were forced to walk a gauntlet of screaming "Occupy Wall Street" protesters just to get to school on Thursday.

In the middle of thousands of protestors yelling and chanting - some kicking and screaming - CBS 2's Emily Smith found little school kids trying to get to class. Nervous parents led them through the barriers on Wall Street. The NYPD helped funnel the children, anything to ease their fears while some protestors chanted "follow those kids!"

Ah, those big-hearted leftists.

But, speaking of violence against children, down at our nation's southern border, where we're told we must "do right by the children," and that these kids are harmless, apparently some sweet innocent little gangs are recruiting members and using our hospitality to contact other gang members across the nation.  The most violent, notorious gangs in Central America that we are already dealing with in the States have young blood to spill.

So, tell me again how it is the violence in their country they are trying to escape from.  And, if that were true, according to the left, we have one in five children who face hunger in America, constituting violence against children, why the hell are they coming here?

Obama released five of the most violent terrorists from Guantanamo Bay not too long ago.  He doesn't seem to care about what ISIS has done to create its caliphate, either.  If you just think about the cavalier way in which this President is dealing with violent people, you begin to think he doesn't have much of a problem with it - and that should be a problem for him.

The number one job that the President of the United States has is to protect the people.  Is there any evidence that he is trying to do that?  Or, are there still people out there who believe a speech is action?

This President gives a speech, knocks back a few beers, stays up late, wakes up late, golfs while major international crises are underway, spends more on vacations than the Royal Family in Great Britain, and all the while, continues to tell lie after lie, blaming others for his deliberate dereliction of duty.

In the Obama's hometown of Chicago, Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13, the gang that is represented in these border camps, was one of four California gangs that showed up in 2004.  A report by the AP revealed that, "Mara Salvatrucha could be especially dangerous for police, gang experts say. Most hard-core members are former guerrilla soldiers from Central America with extensive training in weapons and warfare tactics."  And while we are continually told that these are just children on the border, most are between 14 and 18 and are male. I suppose we are also to believe Obama didn't know anything about the gang element in the town he organized, represented, and sat as a U.S. senator for.  Of course, he didn't hear Reverend Wright's racist anti-American sermons, either.

But, he did tell Occupy that they were the reason he ran for office, so there's that.

Regular Americans have had enough, and we are at the mercy of a dangerous Presidency and a feckless opposition party, as the violence against our children multiplies.
