Commenting on a new "music" video in which Snoop Dog raps repeatedly about "niggas" and "f--k the police," and includes a scene where the pot-smoking Dog shoots a Donald Trump clown with a toy gun, Christian leader Franklin Graham denounced the cultural garbage being produced by "some in our entertainment industry" and said they are "promoting hate, violence and unrest."

In the video, multiple characters are shown smoking marijuana -- an apparent obsession with Snoop Dog -- and in one scene a policeman shoots a man in a car. Later, the clown-Trump is mocked and Dog shoots him with a toy "BANG!" gun and then smokes more dope. The lyrics to the song, Lavender, are too vulgar to reproduce here.  (You can read them here.)

In a March 15 post on Facebook, Rev. Franklin Graham said, "How low can we go? We’ve had so many problems in this country between law enforcement and minority communities, we should be looking for ways to unite and bring people together."

"Snoop Dogg recently released a video with vulgar lyrics that not only portrays a police officer pulling someone over and shooting them, but also includes Snoop Dogg shooting a clown made to represent President Donald J. Trump," said Graham.

"The kind of violence that some in our entertainment industry are manufacturing for consumption by the youth of America is dangerous," he said.  "Rather than promoting positive messages, they're promoting hate, violence, and unrest—What do you think?"

In a July 2016 video, Snoop Dog mouthed the word "F--k Donald Trump" and also said, "go get a new haircut, you bitch-ass nigga." Snopp Dog headlined the DNC party last July after Hillary Clinton accepted the party's nomination for president.
