Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) dined with President Obama and a dozen other GOP Senators Wednesday as Rand Paul was on the senate floor launching a 13 hour filibuster against John Brennan's nomination as CIA director.

McCain was in high spirits leaving the dinner, giving a "thumbs up" to press covering the attendees leaving the event. He said his dinner with the president was "just fine."

McCain lambasted Paul's filibuster, telling him to "calm down" and stating "The U.S. government cannot randomly target U.S. citizens."

As for the dinner, Pres. Obama reportedly picked up the check.
