CEO and financial analyst Peter Schiff recently took on Occupy Wall Street protesters, correcting their misconceptions about how jobs are actually created and proclaiming FDR ‘the Barack Obama of his day.”

The Media Research Center sent MRCTV to Zuccotti Park in New York City to see exactly what was going on at Occupy Wall Street protests on October 21, 2011.

There, we captured Peter Schiff, CEO and Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Inc., taking questions from the protesters who call themselves “The 99 Percent.”

Schiff, as you can guess, took questions representing “The One Percent”- or, in other words, the exact people the Occupiers are demanding be taxed more so the government can spread the wealth around.

Essentially, the protesters aren't too fond of people like Schiff who have worked hard their entire lives to attain the positions they currently hold.

First, Schiff got into a "chicken or the egg" debate with the protesters, explaining to them that businesses (not consumers) create jobs.

Then, Schiff burst the bubble of a protester who invoked Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

“FDR was the Barack Obama of his day,” Schiff told the protesters, adding, “He caused the Great Depression.”

Schiff went on to give his take on Herbert Hoover: “Hoover did the wrong thing. Hoover was like George Bush. He tried to prop everybody up, bail everybody out.”

Watch as Schiff bravely engages the mob and fields their questions.
