On his show today, Rush Limbaugh said we need a “pond-scum czar” to oversee President Obama’s new vision of algae-based energy.

“Algae, pond-scum.  Now, this needs a czar.  We need a pond scum czar and that means we need somebody slimy.  And I think Obama could probably find a lot of slimy people to be pond-scum czar.  Bill Maher would fit the bill-any number of people would.”

Rush was criticizing President Obama’s energy speech yesterday in which he proposed using algae as a new fuel.  Limbaugh took jabs at both the President’s use of “czars” in his cabinet and the liberal comedian and Obama supporter, Bill Maher.
