Limbaugh: 'White House Wants To Run Against Romney' Because Of Romneycare

October 25, 2011 - 3:50 PM

In response to a caller’s question about why he felt the media was not really attacking Republican contender Mitt Romney, Rush Limbaugh said that he felt that the White House and its media allies want Obama to run against Romney, “the architect of Obamacare.”

“I think the White House wants to run against Romney. There is part of me that thinks that, then there’s another part of me that’s not sure about it,” Limbaugh said.

“But, I know that the White House is eager to run against Romney the way he’s running around defending Romneycare.”

Obama and his administration consulted Romney’s aides about how to implement and design Obama’s national health care law in 2009. That has been the most consistent attack on Romney by his fellow Republicans who are seeking the party’s 2012 presidential nomination.

Obama’s supporters have also pointed that out about Romney, added Limbaugh: “They are out there saying that Romneycare is the foundation of Obamacare.”

“If, the architect of Obamacare is the Republican nominee, (The White House and the media) like that” said Limbaugh.
