Michael Moore: Americans Won’t Call Themselves Liberals ‘Because We All Sound Like Harry Reid’

It’s getting near Halloween. A time when many enjoy a good scare, but after listening to filmmaker Michael Moore, it could be the voice of Sen. Harry Reid (D –Nev.) putting a scare into some liberals.

During a speech last October in Washington, Moore told the audience, “This is why most Americans will never call themselves a liberal, because we all sound like Harry Reid.”

Moore then went on to give a unique impression of Reid from behind his podium.

The filmmaker explained his theory that most Americans are liberal but are afraid of calling themselves that because of "the others".

“It is a liberal country, most Americans are liberals,” Moore said, “They won’t call themselves liberals because we allowed the others to make that a dirty word and then we went along with it.”

I’m not so sure that it’s ‘the others’ that instill so much fear.

I’m more creeped out my Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s tale of her experience with the spirits of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton at the White House.

Forget the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ marathon, I might just watch Nancy tell her tale again and again this Halloween.
