Actor David Spade: Obama is ‘A Bit Thirsty’ For Attention

TMZ has posted a video of actor David Spade criticizing President Obama’s reality show appearances as seeming a “bit thirsty for me.”

A TMZ reporter asked Spade about his comments criticizing the president for appearing on the reality show Running Wild with Bear Grylls.

“I criticized Obama because I thought, you know, a president should have a little more dignity than – I mean, I realize that Woodrow Wilson went on Dancing with the Stars once, but what president’s doing reality shows?” Spade says in a video posted on Sunday. “It just sounds weird to me, I mean, it’s just too much.”

“It just seems a bit thirsty to me, that’s all,” he later added.

Spade seems to think that all the media appearances by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are a set up for possibly more turns on reality shows in the future.

“I think they’re going to do fine, but they’re sort of plotting, after the White House,” Spade said.
