Last night, radio host Mark Levin told the media they were “so damn corrupt” in their handling of the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Levin compared ABC News touting its poll regarding President Obama’s handling of Hurricane Sandy to the media's coverage of the Benghazi terrorist attack:
“You know, it’s interesting. I try to listen to the top of the hour news, and I’m hearing ABC Radio News, and they talk about a poll or survey on the president’s performance during this natural disaster. And it’s 70% positive, including Republics, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘See how the media play this; this isn’t political, but they do a poll to see if people approve of what the president has been doing’.
“And have they conducted a poll or survey of American approval or disapproval of the president’s handling of Benghazi? Oh, they haven’t? Oh, I see.
“Now let me understand this, and I’ve been saying it all night. The president has a responsibility as a Commander in Chief, right? That consulate is his responsibility. The safety of those individuals - his responsibility. The Secretary of State reports to him, the Secretary of Defense reports to him. The CIA Director, effectively, reports to him.
“Now that’s his job. He spends 60 to 90 minutes in New Jersey today. Tomorrow, he’s in Las Vegas with Eva Longoria. You know, here today, gone tomorrow. But he’s the Commander in Chief every damn day. That’s his job. And I didn’t hear a poll or a survey on how he handled Benghazi, because I doubt it would be 70%.
“You people in the media, you’re so damn corrupt. It’s just hard to stomach. It’s just unbelievable. It’s like Benghazi doesn’t exist.”
