Last night, radio host Mark Levin said President Obama is “deeply delusional, incompetent, and ideologically radical,” and is “threatened by the industrious, independent, and successful.”

Levin was discussing Obama’s comments at a campaign event last Friday in Roanoke, Virginia, where the president stated, “If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that.  Somebody else made that happen.”

“Obama has spent a lifetime attacking the most humane, the most productive, the most prosperous constitutional and economic system man has ever known,” Levin said:

“He’s deeply delusional, incompetent, and ideologically radical. No one has ever had less to offer the American people and a nation, yet has assumed the highest office in the land.

“I said Friday, Obama is threatened by the industrious, independent, and successful. He said as much on Saturday. Because they demonstrate what is actually possible under current societal conditions. Achievement, happiness, fulfillment, which contradicts everything he says, everything he stands for, and endangers his utopian religion.

“This is an assault not only on our heritage, by on the entirety of Western civilization. The emancipation of the individual was the great spiritual revolution that led to the breakdown of tribalism and the rise of democracy, as Karl Popper put it.

“Obama wants the power to endlessly social engineer. Meaning redesign us and our surroundings. This has nothing to do with roads. It has nothing to do with the rich. He attacked you on Saturday, because you’re the object of his desires. This isn’t a theoretical or academic matter. He seeks to force you into the employ of his utopian purposes.

“You, each of you, are the object of his designs. You can see it in your own lives, in your workplace, in your neighborhood, in your community. Americans are on edge; they’re full of anxiety.

“The economy is a disaster. People are suffering. And Obama has no intention of reversing course. For him, it’s full speed ahead.”
