Romney Can't Even Commit To A Cuisine?

I know Mitt Romney’s been accused of waffling on a range of big issues, like abortion, guns, immigration, marriage, and health care – but, this is ridiculous.

The Romney campaign has announced a “Grab A Bite With Mitt” raffle to stir up donations. The lucky winner will get to share a meal with the GOP presidential hopeful.

But, judging from the announcement, it seems Romney can’t even commit to a cuisine.

“We don’t know when, where, or what the food will be,” the announcement cautions.

So, even committing to dinner plans is too much to ask from the man who wants to be trusted with leading our nation into peace, prosperity, and financial security?

And, imagine the embarrassment the poor winner could suffer if he or she got all dressed up and showed up at a fine steak house, only to learn Romney changed his mind en route and went off to get Chinese, instead.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given that there’s an entire Website dedicated to chronicling and categorizing Romney flip flops.

To be fair, the raffle announcement does go on to say, “[I]f it’s up to Mitt, it will probably be pizza.”

“If” it’s up to Mitt???

Does that mean there’s someone out there who has veto power over Mitt’s menu decisions? Let’s hope it’s not Michelle Obama, or the lucky winner could be stuck eating arugula.

For that matter, let’s hope it’s NOT pizza. By the time there’s a firm call on the type of crust and toppings, the election could be over.
