In his election night victory speech, Pres. Obama declared Joe Biden "the best Vice President anybody could ever hope for." But, Biden's first four years have been marked by controversial, colorful, and even inaccurate, comments.
In last night's speech, Obama praised Biden for being the ideal second-in-command:
"I want to thank my friend and partner of the last four years, America's happy warrior -- (applause) -- the best Vice President anybody could ever hope for -- Joe Biden."
But, the first term of the 'best Vice President anybody could ever hope for" hasn't been without controversy.
Take Biden The Economist, who explained that "We have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt."
And, Biden The Peacemaker, who joked about the Secret Service shooting Florida's wildlife commissioner and said he wished critics of his jobs bill knew what it feels like to be raped and robbed.
There's Biden The Civil Discourse Diplomat, who warned "They're gonna put you all back in chains."
Biden the Visionary, who - a dozen years into the 21st Century - declared there's still time to "lead the world in the 20th Century."
And, of course, there's Biden The Geographer, who told Virginians they could help "win North Carolina."
And, there's more where these came from.
