Islamic Leaders Seek Confrontation and Chaos, Not Compromise

In my opinion the current and coordinated anti-American events taking place in the Middle East are much more ominous than President Obama and the nation's media would have us believe.

While a movie that supposedly disrespects Mohammed may be used by the Muslim leaders to inflame the obedient masses of Islam, I submit to you that it has little to do with the real reason for all the violence and puts the Obama administration in the unenviable position of having to choose sides between the radical Muslims and American citizens.

There is no middle ground here. What the Islamists are demanding is that the U.S. passes a law forbidding the criticism of Islam, which would completely violate the First Amendment of the Constitution guaranteeing free speech, so Obama is going to have to refuse, unless he can get a change in the Constitution eliminating the most fundamental freedom in America ratified. Something that is likely to happen when the Rocky Mountains crawl across the continent into the Pacific Ocean.

The biggest percentage of the Muslim people in the Middle East can't understand why Obama can't just whip everybody in line and immediately put this law into effect since they have little or no experience in anything except totalitarian dictatorships, which are really controlled by the Mullahs and religious leaders who can snap their fingers and bring about anything from the rationing of bread to the placing of a price on someone's head.

But the Islamic leaders know that no such law will ever be passed by the United States Congress and actually seek confrontation and chaos, and for a president with a decided lack of backbone where Islam is concerned, that makes for a tight corner.

The president seemed to think that by virtue of his background and cosmopolitan approach to international politics and his rapprochement to Islam he could sooth the troubled waters and America would begin a new day of peace and friendship with Muslims around the world.

He wholeheartedly supported the Arab Spring, hailing it as the Middle East's 1776, only to have the same people he put his hope in burn him in effigy.

Until recently, his administration's official stand on the slaughter of an American Ambassador and three other American citizens, as well as the destruction of our Libyan Consulate, is that it was an extension of the YouTube video protests that were going on at the time, and nothing to do with the anniversary of 9/11.

That is a ridiculous, naive and juvenile stance. Since when do you take a RPG to a street protest? Even the Libyan government is adamant that the attack was planned and coordinated.

America has not finished a war since WWII and the world has come to think if you push us enough, America will tuck it’s tail and go home, many times leaving behind a bigger mess that the original one.

The Islamists have basically had their way with Obama and figure that a president who will apologize for his own nation's greatness and bow to an Islamic King is weak enough to push around. And, judging by the president's action, or lack thereof, so far their assessment seems to be right.

Every day the situation goes unanswered is a day that the fanatics grow stronger and more confident.

Somebody needs to stand up here.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops, and for our country.

God Bless America
